The pillow-side ear is the whole point
I have tried three pairs of normal earbuds and every one of them dug in the second I rolled onto my side. These I genuinely forget about. That was the only thing I wanted.

Feedback on comfort on the pillow side, how long the battery really lasts, and how much noise they actually take off.
I have tried three pairs of normal earbuds and every one of them dug in the second I rolled onto my side. These I genuinely forget about. That was the only thing I wanted.
They are up until two most nights. With rain playing I stopped hearing the footsteps. It is not silence and I would not pretend it is, but I am asleep now and I was not before.
I used to end up next door about twice a week. Have not done it once since these arrived. I can still hear him if the volume is low, just not enough to wake me up.
My old buds died about ninety minutes in, so I would wake up to silence and a flat battery. These were still playing when the alarm went off.
Every cheap pair I have had either fell out in the night or ached by morning. These sat right straight away.
Earplugs were no use to me because I need something playing to drop off. These do both jobs, which nothing else I tried managed.
I nearly spent over a hundred pounds. For what I actually use them for, which is not waking up, I cannot tell you what the extra money would have bought me.
I move around a lot in my sleep and fully expected to find one in the duvet. Both still in, both still playing.
Hotel corridors, the aircon, the man behind me. Put these in with an audiobook and woke up somewhere over France.
I never know whether earbuds are charged. Being able to glance at the case before bed means I stopped getting caught out halfway through the night.
He was sceptical, borrowed mine for one night and asked me to order him his own. Now we both wear them.
Each bud weighs under 3 g and sits flush in the ear, so the side you sleep on is not a pressure point. That is the entire design brief.
5 hours of playback per charge and 24 hours with the case. USB-C, about an hour to full, so they are ready by bedtime.
A soft silicone seal takes the edge off snoring, traffic and footsteps upstairs before any electronics are involved. Passive sealing, not active noise cancelling, and we will not pretend otherwise.

A soft silicone seal takes the edge off the room, and a flush body under 3 g means the ear against the pillow stays comfortable. Play rain, a podcast or nothing at all.

Ordinary earbuds were built for walking around, so they stick out and dig in the moment you lie on them. Earplugs block the noise but you cannot play anything through them. Sleepsono is under 3 g a side, sits flush in the ear, and runs 5 hours a charge with 24 in the case, at a third of what the premium pair costs.
grams per bud, which is why the ear you sleep on does not ache by morning.
hours of playback per charge, enough for a full night with room to spare.
hours total with the charging case, so a long-haul flight and the hotel after it are both covered.

The honest ones, including what these do not do.
